It's Shoujosei Renaissance! So many adaptations are coming out this year, so I decided to make an interest stack to keep a track of them. Hope it helps someone out there! Includes (and I keep updating) every shoujo, josei and joseimuke adaptations that are being announced for 2026.

I will do a stack for each year, starting with 2023 until present.

Stack rules:

1. Only the first season of an anime will be listed, with the exception being if it's a Sequel, (Remakes and Spin-off's will also be included.).

2. The anime or sequel must have started airing in 2026 to qualify for this stack.

3. Original anime will not be lncluded unless it is very clearly targeted at a female audience.

4. BL, Shounen-Ai, Yaoi, GL, Shoujo-Ai, Yuri, Erotica and Hentai will not be listed.

5. No anime shorts, only series, ONA's, OVA's and Movies with a duration of at least 10 minutes will be listed.

These are anime that use styles, character designs, and settings that are based on Meiji and Taisho era Japan. Some take place in that time period, and others just borrow aesthetic elements.

The Meiji era (1868-1912) and the Taisho era (1912-1926) are time periods known for the introduction and integration of western culture and technology into Japan. Western and eastern styles of fashion, literature, art, infrastructure, and transportation blended together to create a very distinct style. I like it because it looks cool.

This list primarily focuses on clothing and technology!
