"The Royal Tutor" and "My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked" are two anime series that give off a similar vibe. Although there are of course differences, there are multiple similarities including: -taking place in a medieval European-inspired fantasy world. -having a protagonist who is originally lower class joining an upper-class noble family. -often feature characters who initially appear standoffish & cruel, but turn out to be kind & understanding. -similar animation styles, types of jokes, sense of humor. -have a fluffy dog as a secondary character. The main difference is that the characters in "The Royal Tutor" are almost all males, while "My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked" is comprised entirely of female characters. Still fans of goofy, feel-good, or historical anime, might enjoy these shows.  read more 

A girl stays with people who, by appearances, you might assume would mistreat her, but they are actually super sweet to her. Both shows are cute and heartwarming
