| Suzume could have just gone to the hairdresser but at least we got a nice scene out of it. Ricotta really likes to dress up Suzume and it made for some nice scenes. The part with the picture was also expected my guess is Ricotta will be looking for nekomimi's now. |

| I’m once again pleading with this author to give us a yuri ending with Ricotta and Suzume because they are entirely too cute together and the way Ricotta is always there for Suzume is so adorable π₯Ή she got so jealous that Suzume didn’t invite her over to do her hair lol. I’m wondering why grandma didn’t just even up Suzume bangs tho? That wouldn’t have required much work.. I’m glad we got an episode almost entirely dedicated to our girls hanging out, learning about apricots and different foods and then our halloween lecture lol. The look on Suzume face when she realized her two best friends get along well was so cute too. That’s such a sensitive situation for anyone, but luckily they’re both really chill |

| An enjoyable episode, unpretentious in terms of the plot, simply a good time spent with likeable characters doing likeable things—that's the merit of the narrative. Meanwhile, it also builds the bonds between the various characters, as seen in this episode and beyond. I'd also love to see more new characters, just to add more meat to the plot. |

| October's my favorite time of year and Halloween's my favorite holiday so this was probably my favorite episode yet solely for that last segment. It was also interesting to get an explanation on the origins of Halloween from a Japanese perspective. A little over 5 months to go now until the big day and even less until October 1st! Can't wait! |

There was a lot of Ricotta this episode which I enjoyed as her interactions with Suzume are always fun to watch. Anzu's return was also great, it was nice seeing the pair bonding over Halloween traditions. The only part of the episode I wasn't sold on was Sora's segement just because it felt almost entirely unconnected from everything else in the episode, sort of like it was just added to reach the episode runtime. It wasn't a bad segement just felt a bit out of place compared to the rest. Anyway, what are you going to do with that photo, Ricotta? Ricotta, what are you going to do with the photo?! |
| I'm not going to lie, they tried to make the dinosaur scenes look fascinating or calming... But it made me feel like I was in the Uncanny Valley. Lol (Something similar happened with the badly cut bangs) Can you really get food poisoning from eating those seeds? Good to know. I had to try miso soup to realize I'm not a big fan. Generally, I like almost everything they eat in this anime. What a great Halloween party they had. I'm already looking forward to the next episode. |

| Suzume loves her summer uniform... the whole winter/summer uniform thing is strictly Japan, so why would she send it back? She trie to cut her bangs and chopped them but Ricotta came and did something to make them long again. Hmmmm.... |
