Synopsis

The sea level rose to cover the continents. On a planet where dry land can no longer be found, the young Bota's family lives on a small boat and wanders the vast ocean. A harpooner who hunts in deep sea water may be the prey of a monster at any time, those who only appear at night. Will Bota and his family ever make it to safety and escape this aquatic hell?... Leviathan is originally a webtoon series which was published in book format by Maeum-ui Sup (마음의숲) from March 22, 2022 to October 4, 2022.

The series was published digitally in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Italian by Toomics. The Toomics English release split the original webtoon chapters in halves. It has also been published digitally in English and French by Webtoon Entertainment.

oh boy oh boy this manhwa it's really something for sure, first of all if you hate and despise loli fanservise as i do, don't read this shi as the first 50 chapters or so are basically fanservise, it does go away tho thank god, idk why people are into loli shi tbh like bro there's thick latinas everywhere and yo ass going for a child ngl that's fucked up, also this author was going overboard with that shi i dropped this because of the fanservice but picked it back up because i was told it went away after, anyways enought talking about thick latinas ...

Honestly surprised to see this rated so highly as it's very misleading in explaining what this manhwa actually is.
It is a pretty usual shonen type story with very dull twists, plot armor every 2nd battle and simplistic black/white morale.

The main attraction being breathtaking visuals. And quite a lot of fanservice. Absolute 10/10 on that front.

If you want a mix of good action scenes/fanservice/highly detailed colored art and don't mind a cringe story for children - you will enjoy this.

If you are expecting a serious survival/horror story - you will be disappointed.

There ain't much to tell beyond that - characters are one dimensional and do not ...

Features a huge age gap grooming effecitvely relationship.
It's quite good at first, great action, suspsense, interesting world and easy to get invested in. Albeit one character is oversexualized, even moreso in the non webtoon version, and then later that oversexualized character who basically raised the mcs since they were kids and was in love with their dad gets into a relationship plot with the male one about 3/4ths in, shame I was enjoying it but it just pulls you outta the story, decided to drop it upon looking up that yes they end up together. Don't waste your time with it.
