If you're looking for another unsettling queer storyline packed full of metaphors, symbolism, sensitive topics and supernatural/fantasy elements, this is it!
While Utena has a female perspective, so it focuses on deconstructing the patriarchy and the roles enforced within it, tshd focuses more on themes of shame and ostracism (from a male perspective). Overall, both are really great for character analysis and social commentary!
