Synopsis

Shima really adores her parents, the loud-spoken alpha Akane Kuroga and the collected omega Aoi Shirosaki. However, despite the loving relationship these men have today, they were once just brash students who were bound to butt heads due to the rivalry between their schools. The two should have hated each other immediately, but instead, they felt an instant connection. From prospective rivals to lovers, the men tell their daughter the story of how they met, fell in love, and had her—creating a warm and tender family of their own.

First of all, I want to say I'm not a fan of omegaverse, I don't read it very often and it's not a genre that I usually like because of the problematic tropes some have. However, this one right here is a truly hidden gem.
The story is very sweet and wholesome. Normally, you'll see the couple being build-up 'til the end but in this case, we already know what's the end of their story. The main couple has good chemistry, their relationship isn't toxic nor problematic, they're very passionate about each other and respect each other, especially the seme. I love the trope rivals ...

Just based on what is present here, the story is already pretty good.

The bond between the two MCs are strong and free from toxic bullshit, and the art looks really nice. I do enjoy how the story uses the future as a framing device; not only does it make for a nice contrast to the high-spirited past, it also creates a safe anchor. The story is free to heighten the tension in the past PRECISELY because we as readers know that the story will end up happy.

This story is one of the poster children for a BL story that started as a standalone, but the publisher told the author to expand it because of its popularity. The other 2 examples are "I Hear The Sunspot" and "The Summer Of You".

Volume 1 is like a rom-com and is a pretty funny story. It's basically two adults walking their child home while telling their child the story of how the parents fell in love with each other, and it's shown in flashbacks.
