Hand it to paru itagaki, the author of beastars and the daughter of the author of baki, to take one of the weirdest fucking premises you'll ever hear and make it into a damn good romance dramedy.
The manga is a slow burn as it takes a while for both the female mc and her husband to get more characterisation but once it starts it never stops. The twists and turns you see at the end of each chapter just make you wanna keep reading despite it being very uncomfortable at times.
The characters are adults but its not just that, they feel, think and behave like
...
actual people. Paru is known to have really deep introspective looks at relationships and its pretty evident in this work. The comedy is also hilarious if you take a step back and really think about the ridiculous premise.
There is just one blight on the manga that i really despise and it happens in chapter 5 thats used as a way to push the plot forward but in a very distasteful way. This chapter is the only reason i have mixed feelings reccomending this manga But i assure you, if you decide to push past that chapter you'll discover a great manga.
Once again Paru you have outdone yourself but at this point i should start to expect it.
