Is it shallow? Oh, definitely, its a magical girl interacting with a weird demon guy.
Are the characters each their own manga stereotype? Of course.
Did the story really deserve to get axed 21 chapters in? Oh my god, no.

I really was invested in seeing where it all went, but this shit went from fun school times to let's end the story real quick. I could see the vision, the characters the author was introducing, the stages of the relationship, but it all went out the window around chapter 17. This view was marked preliminary but I completed the manga before writing it.

This was one of those manga that ends up in Jump at the wrong time for it. The characters were fun, the situation was engaging, and it made me laugh every week. However, the other series in the magazine were more popular, so unfortunately this one only lasted 21 chapters. I definitely would recommend reading it even though it's short because there was a lot of fun and creative things happening.
