Review: My Gift Lv9999 Unlimited Gacha
My Gift Lv9999 Unlimited Gacha* ended up being a series I genuinely loved, and a big reason for that is its strong revenge-driven story. While it leans into familiar isekai and overpowered-protagonist territory, what really stood out to me was how focused and satisfying the narrative feels, especially when it comes to payback and character motivations.
The story is easily the highlight. It’s not just about having an insanely powerful ability—it’s about how that power is used, particularly in the context of revenge. That element gives the series a clear direction and keeps things engaging beyond just flashy fights or constant
...
power-ups.
Speaking of power, the protagonist is actually a lot more fun than I expected. Even though he has access to overwhelming abilities, there are moments where he isn’t completely dominant, and that’s where things get interesting. Instead of relying purely on brute force, he uses strategy and intelligence, which adds a nice layer to his character and keeps the story from feeling too one-note.
As for characters, Light is definitely my favorite—he brings a strong presence to the story. Nazuna also stands out, especially with how adorable she can be at times, which adds some lighter moments to balance the heavier revenge themes.
The pacing is a bit mixed. Some parts move quickly, while others slow down, but it didn’t really take away from my enjoyment overall. If anything, it helps give certain moments more room to breathe.
Honestly, I didn’t find much to dislike. The series knows what it wants to be and delivers on it without getting overly repetitive or dragging things out.
I’d highly recommend this manga to anyone who enjoys a solid revenge story—that’s really the core of what makes it so enjoyable. If that’s your kind of thing, this one hits hard.
