I honestly really don't know what to say except that Mob Psycho was a really good watch. One of my favorite bits of this series is how, although psychic abilities are a major part, they aren't what Mob Psycho is about. I loved how Mob was portrayed throughout the story and seeing a lot of what he believes in torn down or shown through real-world examples, but I do have a few pretty annoying issues.
First is the fact that Dimple sacrificed himself just to return a few episodes later; I feel like this kind of did a 180 and ruined that part of the

story.
I also don’t like how we didn't see Mob get rejected. It really felt like it was a very important part of Mob Psycho, just for it to happen off-screen. I really did not like this, especially after 4 whole episodes of it being this huge deal. I also think they could've used Tsubomi better.
The scattered plot was another thing I didn't like. It was kinda annoying to see things be hinted at or gone into just slightly, just to be used like 20 episodes later. For example, Tome and the whole idea with aliens and her character she's introduced in season 1 episode 2, if I’m remembering correctly, introducing us to this very plot that was used 3 seasons and 7 episodes later.
Overall, Mob Psycho is amazing, and I highly recommend it, despite me being negative about it, but I think the animation, emotional climax, and Reigen as a whole outweighs these issues, which is why I gave such a high rating. I think an overwhelming majority of people would love this series, and I honestly did, and I give it a nine out of ten. 9/10

Words bubble up like soda pop follows a boy and a girl who both have major insecurities: Smiles, buck teeth, and Cherry’s communication, trying to help an old man recover a missing vinyl
this movie’s strong suit is how the story is told the reason I liked this movie so much is because nothing is downplayed the director knows how to tell a story and how to use insecurity it’s never downplayed or written off or even abandoned halfway through Smile keeps her mask and Cherry keeps his headphones but I love how as Cherry gets more comfortable you can notice he loses the headphones

Near the end, when Cherry confesses, which was a REALLY good confession I’d honestly say one of the best I’ve seen in anime, after he confessed, Smile takes off her mask and embraces what she’s so insecure about
I really loved this movie, and I highly recommend it. Like all anime movies, my biggest issue is how short it is; it’s pretty minor, but I hate how this movie is only an hour and a half long. Ignoring that, this is a very good movie that I think everyone should watch. 8/10

I actually love this anime so much. I honestly couldn't recommend this enough. Haibane Renmei is so aesthetically pleasing in every single way. Everything from the OST to the artwork to the characters all fit together to create this beautiful aesthetic of a quiet story about discovering oneself through forgiveness, guilt, and acceptance, although a bit confusing at times.
Haibane Renmei is truly a remarkable story that I honestly didn't have many expectations for; I thought it would be a silly slice of life until it took a narrative shift and introduced a bunch of brand new concepts
For example, Kuu leaving, which was described as

the Haibane taking flight after discovering themselves and going beyond the walls, and for a lot of the concepts and mysteries, you never really get answers for.
But I think this feeling of the unknown is what makes this anime so good; it's filled with mystery that leaves you with more questions than answers while building this eerie, mysterious vibe to the anime.
Overall, Haibane Renmei is a melancholic anime with a very good story, amazing world-building, fun and compelling characters, filled to the brim with unique and interesting concepts, and a perfect ending. I honestly recommend this to everyone; it's such a unique anime, and I love it. 9/10

Klutz and Skirt is a pretty basic romcom that follows common tropes you see in other romcoms, and it felt like there really wasn’t anything unique about this anime. Still, despite this, the characters were entertaining to watch interact with one another, which I think was a pretty big positive, and the comedy was funny and genuinely enjoyable. Didn't really expect much but left with a piece of media close to a masterpiece. There are so many amazing things about this movie I can go on about, like the dynamic between Fujino and Kyoumoto, the amazing art style and animation, and even the storytelling. One thing about Look Back that really surprised me was the tone shift a little over halfway through the movie, turning emotional after Fujino and Kyoumoto split off for college. The sudden, tragic turn with Kyoumoto was a major unexpected shift, but it was so well done and is a main part of why I think this movie is

Overall, Look Back does so many things well that add up into a very good movie, from the dynamics between characters to the major shift in tone, and I left this movie with really only one issue, and that's how short it was. I really liked this movie and wished it was longer. 9/10

I didn't come into the Persona 4 anime with high expectations, and I've seen really nothing but hate for this anime, but I honestly enjoyed it.
Like almost every Persona game/anime, the characters are easily the best part, and this is still true for Persona 4; they all feel like actual friends trying to solve a series of murder/kidnapping which is a part I enjoyed, I especially liked Yu his stupid comments on the side was why i gave the anime a higher rating and this kinda goes for all the Personas in both game and anime, but I really like the shifts in tone

I feel like its done so well no matter how its adapted and I think 4 did it best you almost forget about the serious themes until you get hit with them out of nowhere and yet the shifts in tone is amazing despite how fast you are hit with it.
When it comes to persona, though, an anime doesn't really fit what it's going for, and if you don't have the money for the games, then yeah, obviously the anime is the first thing to go to, but if you do have the money that you are willing to spend, you should definitely play the games instead the anime leaves no freedom of choice in what you get to do or who you interact with when I feel like this is a pretty big part of what makes Persona such an amazing series the anime are fine but its almost impossible to adapt Persona without it feeling bland and rushed.
Overall, it wasn't a terrible adaptation; I just think the way Persona is, it would be kind of hard to adapt it so that it doesn't feel empty to some people. If you have the money and time, I'd highly recommend the games instead, and if you are on a computer or Xbox, Persona 5 Royal is on Game Pass, and the new Persona 4 will be on Game Pass, so if you have the subscription and time to play it, please do so; you will 100% love it. 7/10

I honestly enjoyed it. I think this anime does a lot right. For example, a big part that I enjoyed was how you saw things from both perspectives, even from an outsider's POV. Yukiya and Miku also feel like real friends, not like they were forced together as in some other romcoms; their writing and motives all make sense and align with one another, showing how each of them improves throughout the story.
The premise of the show is interesting and fun to keep up with, but with the love game, the pacing is very slow; not much happened in episodes 1–9, and then in 10–12

everything happened all at once. Although the plot was interesting, it was very predictable and followed a lot of clichés; you could almost guess the entire story from episode one.
Overall, I Want to End this Love Game is a fairly good show with a good premise and two great MCs. Although it isn't anything crazy, I'd still recommend it. It was still a good watch, and if you liked the plot and ideas, you'd probably like Love is War. I'm sure everyone's watched it by now, but if you haven't and you like this anime, you'd really like Love is War. 7/10

If you had told me a few weeks ago that an anime about a kid named Simon with a weird way to pronounce his name (See-Moan) fighting cosmic beings close to being omnipotent with drills and human will power would be this good, I would've never believed you
Gurren Lagann is truly an amazing anime. I came into this series with full expectations that it's a really overrated show that people love to gas up due to nostalgia, but holy was I wrong. Gurren Lagann does so many things perfectly, from the characters, the quotes, the visuals, the fights, the symbolism, and even the sacrifices

of certain characters; everything is done so well.
The characters are almost all amazing; they each have their own unique skill sets and quirks that differentiate them from one another. Whether it's Simon, Kamina, Yoko, or Nia, they are all AMAZING characters.
The evolution of Simon throughout the series, from the scared, timid boy who is only good at digging tunnels and lacks the confidence to do anything, to the man who literally saves trillions of lives, stopping the Anti-Spiral even though everything was against him.
Kamina, the man from the start of the series, was the beacon to everyone around him, especially Simon. He was the character who started everything, giving confidence to Simon and hope to people all over the earth that they can rise to the surface and join them in taking back the surface, but the best part about his character was that he was just as timid as Simon, and Simon was the reason he was able to keep going, and his sacrifice was just perfect the passing of the torch to Simon to become independent and use his own power, to the actual plot point into shifting into a more serious tone it was amazing.
Yoko was the person to start everything. She destroyed the roof of the village where Simon and Kamina lived. She brought them to the surface and introduced them to Gunmen, Beastmen, and fighting on the surface. Without her, none of this would've taken place. She was one of my favorite characters because she had to go through so much, she fell in love with Kamina, and had to watch him die after confessing, and despite this, she carries on. After the time skip, her becoming a school teacher to "nurture the next generation" was amazing. I really liked the soldier-to-schoolteacher transition with her. I think the weight it had was quietly in the background, but it was game-changing, and it's why I liked her character so much.
The overall power system was also a big favorite for me; the idea behind growing stronger because of the willpower you hold is so simple but so cool. I was such a big fan of this, the mechs too. I also think these were done very well. I'm also glad it held onto this the entire story and didn't change up. This was honestly a pretty big worry for me since the start, and I'm glad it didn't do this
The animation was also amazing; it was unique and very pretty to look at. It also didn't fall apart in intense moments, and it was consistent throughout the series except for that one weird episode, which I think is episode 4, but even in the stupid comedy moments, it was really good, which is something I can really appreciate.
The quotes and speeches are another big favorite for me that are all pretty corny, but they hold so much meaning, I won't go into depth. I just wanted to point out a few I really liked.
"Don't believe in yourself! Believe in the me who believes in you!"
"Listen up, Simon. Don't forget. Believe in yourself. Not in the you who believes in me. Not the me who believes in you. Believe in the you who believes in yourself!"
"We evolve, beyond the person that we were a minute before! Little by little, we advance with each turn. That's how a drill works!"
"My drill is the drill that creates the heavens!"
"The dreams of those who've fallen! The hopes of those who'll follow! Those two sets of dreams weave together into a double helix, drilling a path towards tomorrow! And that's Tengen Toppa! That's Gurren Lagann!"
I'm yapping on and on, but I also wanted to mention the sacrifices of specific characters. The best part about them, to me, is that they aren't meaningless. I feel like a lot of anime or shows in general forget what a sacrifice is supposed to be, and Gurren Lagann does a great job in making them impactful and meaningful, regardless of who it is, whether it's a main character like Kamina, Kittan, and Lord Genome, or a minor character without a big role like the twins and Kanai the fact they made every characters death mean something instead of killing off characters for no reason is something I can really appreciate.
With all the praise I did, I do have a pretty good reason why I gave it a 9/10 over a 10/10. It's because a few characters do a complete 180 and turn into annoying pricks who I hope died later on, like Rossiu turning into an egotistical loser that did nothing but piss me off Post-time skip. Kinon as well, she had an entire personality flip and also became a loser who did nothing but piss me off. I also think the time skip was a random jump cut that went from conquering the surface to a fully developed city with a government and all in the blink of an eye. I don't mind time skips. Still, I wish they would've shown a little bit of in between, especially with Nia. I don't think we got enough of her. They should've shown development in the relationship between her and Simon. I think Kaminas' death was too early in the story, and I wish we would've gotten more with Kamina, Simon, and Yoko. I was a big fan of this trio, and it kinda felt like Yoko was forgotten for a while after his death.
Overall, Gurren Lagann is close to a masterpiece. I think it's just short of a masterpiece for the reasons I just said, but despite this, Gurren Lagann is far from a bad show. It easily became one of my favorites, and I recommend this to literally everyone. I never thought a stupid anime about a digger saving the human race by fighting multi-dimensional gods would be this good, which is why this is such an easy nine out of ten. 9/10

Agasawa Kocha is actually so good at writing drama and characters. After watching both You and I Are Polar Opposites and The Ramparts of Ice, this is so easy to see. Especially in Ramparts of Ice, the drama wasn't completely boring and was very entertaining and easy to follow along with, on top of the amazing character dynamics and development throughout the series, especially Koyuki, but my favorite part was how easy the shift between being funny in one moment and serious the next it didn't feel forced and felt like it fit instead which is something I can really appreciate. the author had their work airing for 6 months straight, which will be almost an entire year now that Polar Opposites season 2 is airing and Ramparts of Ice comes out on October first.
The Ramparts of Ice is a really well-made drama that isn't boring or confusing, and knows how to balance the comedy and actual drama parts of the story. The characters are all great and fun to watch, and their dynamics, especially Koyuki and Yota scheming with one another, were enjoyable and subtly funny. It does suck that Yota ends up getting rejected; it was so sad to see. The story and animation are both really good, and the music was great, especially with the way it fades in as the episode ends. Because of all of this, it's a very easy 8/10 for me.
Overall, a great anime that I highly recommend, and I'm sure everyone has already watched You and I Are Polar Opposites before this, but if you haven't, it's a must. 8/10

Wow, I seriously did not expect this anime to be this good, and after looking at small clips, photos, and promo art, I was assuming it would be another one of those good but nothing crazy magic anime that you forget about a few weeks after watching. Still, Witch Hat Atelier is so much better than this.
Throughout the story, it follows this trend where its light hearted, following Coco on her trial and error to become a witch. Still, it has a ton of subtle eerie moments mixed in that fit so well, like Qifrey, for example; there's obviously so much going on with him
...
and how secretive he's being with his goals and what he lost to the Brimmed Caps. Hiding one eye behind his hair and a blacked-out lens, which I'm assuming "what he lost" was maybe his humanity after the Brimmed Caps experimented with his eye..? Similar to what happened to Euini in episode 13. Not a spoiler or anything, just a guess based on what happens at the end. it also leads into the creepy part of the story with the sentient floating cloak, which forces both Richeh and Agott into a major challenge with their ideas of magic.
Even the concepts and overall world building are amazing, the idea behind drawing magic with a pen and paper sounds so stupid until you see how well it's executed in this anime. I honestly didn't think it would be this interesting, on top of the building of the history as to why magic on humans is forbidden and why you have to keep how simple magic is a secret. Coco's discovery of it, leading to the "death" of her mother as a motive to learn, was very good. The animation is AMAZING as well. So many visually pleasing moments paired with amazing world-building and amazing concept done perfectly.
Overall, Witch Hat Atelier is an anime that deserves all the praise and love it's getting. This is seriously an amazing anime. I can't recommend this enough, and I'm so excited to watch season 2 whenever it comes out. It sucks so much that it had to end on a cliffhanger. Still, I know it will all be worth the wait. 9/10
