I'm very happy Shugo Chara is getting a continuation! The new characters are likeable and well designed, the new plot is interesting and I can't wait to see where it goes!... But unfortunately this series is leaning way too much into the fan service to the point it is interrupting the plot. Characters from the original series keep coming back up for reasons that feel lazy and make no sense at all story wise.
Tadase and Amu transferring schools makes complete sense, but then characters like Nagihiko/Nadeshiko and Rima transfer for no reason it seems like? And now even Ikuto transferred too? His reasoning being that

Basically, just replace “Amapy” in this story with Kangel, and that's the kind of universe this is set in.
The social worker, Hinako, basically forces her client, Agano (the crossdresser boy), into streaming and pretend to be Amapy for work while also working as his manager. Agano doesn't even have much of a choice in this. Hinako came as a social worker to help this person who is struggling to pay bills but ends up forcing him to do something he doesn't seem to really want to do?
